Wissota Super Horse Program
This scholarship program is open to Wissota Appaloosa Horse Club members ages 15+ who will be attending a post-secondary or technical school. Applicants must reside in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, or South Dakota.
Wissota Super Horse
This award is to recognize the versatility of an Appaloosa horse during the 2025 show season.
Wissota Super Horse Information
Open to registered Appaloosa horses only
Nominated horses are scored on selected criteria. The person who nominates the horse is held responsible to prove the horse has met the selected criteria in the 2025 show season through entry forms, pictures and/or videos.
Selections: Nominations will be presented to the Wissota Board of Directors in December of 2025. Selection of the winner will be done at this time. The winning horse will receive a leather halter and a stall banner. The winner will be announced at the Wissota Year-End Social event in January 2026.
Please include a high-quality photo file for the stall banner with your nomination.
Scoring Criteria: The horse is scored on the selected criteria below and it can obtain multiple scores per criteria. For example, in 2025, a horse shows at both of the Wissota’s shows and the ApHC World Show. The horse will receive 20 points per event or 60 points total for the ‘Breed Shows’ criteria.
Nominations: Any Wissota member may submit the criteria information of a horse that is owned by a current Wissota member.
